Holo:Share is a storytelling device for hobbyists of all kinds. The project attempts to address themes of progress visualization and insider-outsider culture within hobbyist communities through speculative design. It features a pocket and parent device that work in tandem to enable sharing and reflection through visual aid. The pocket device is a portable piece of technology that uses a press and hold mechanism to scan 3D objects while the parent device acts as a household hologram projector that uses a dock to extract 3D object data. When its basin is filled with water, the parent device will emit water vapour whose particles act as a reflective surface to produce a hologram.

Note: Holo:Share is a concept that is reliant on futures technologies. Holography is visualized through augmented reality using the Augment app.
